Rhonda Bernard is the founder of Beacon of Light, a consulting, training, and coaching services company. As a consultant, coach and facilitator with over 20 years of senior-level human resources and leadership experience, she partners with leaders and teams to develop strategies and programs that align with company culture, are regionally relevant, while also reflecting contemporary, global inclusion and diversity thinking and guidelines, and supporting business objectives.
She has worked in international companies across a wide range of industries, including Imerys, Antalis, The Estée Lauder Companies. She has recently also worked for scale-ups, and medium-sized businesses, working closely with the management team to help transform the companies to support their growth.
As part of her work with international companies and her exhaustive work with global executives and employees, she realized that many employees did not know their strengths and lacked confidence in their abilities that often prevented them to reach their full potential. She came to the unwavering belief that the best time to start a personal development journey is when we are young, at the moment when we are starting to make some of our most important decisions. For this reason, she embarked on a journey with her partner, Toni McClintock, to start Future Professionals Academy.
Rhonda has a rich and diverse cultural background. She is American, with a South Korean mother, an American military father, and a French husband. Rhonda has lived and worked all over the world; in the USA, Asia, Europe, and South America. This has helped her understand the nuances and importance of different cultures.
